Life is the spoilt brat who stops when you want to go; who go when you want to stop.
Life is the wise old man down the block who gives you the moral of the story only after it happens; He watches silently as you make your mistakes and uses them to teach you lessons you’ll never forget.
Life is the cool breeze in summer; Just when you thought things are bad, your luck turns.
Life is the turning of Earth; Life goes on even when you’re gone.
I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s hard being a girl because of the pressure to look good for other girls. Think about it. Girls dress for other girls. Guys for the most part don’t care which number eye shadow color you’re wearing. Or what brand your purse is.
So a few weeks ago I got back from my very first vacation. I don’t think I could have gone anywhere better. I went to runaway bay Jamaica and stayed at the gran Bahia resort. My cousin from Edmonton also got married there so ontop of being in a beautitful place I had all of my dads side of the family there plus my boyfriend to experience such an amazing trip with. My family and I have had a very rough year. Christmas morning 2012 I woke up to my dad dead on the couch. His heart stopped in his sleep and he died Christmas morning. I cannot explain how I got through it. I still don’t know how I am today. Probably the amazing people I have been surrounded by my family, my boyfriend, and my friends. I would be standing where I am now without them. My dad and I were very close. He was my best friend especially after my mom passed away when I was 16 due to illness as well. Not to mention my nana, my dads mom passed away just in April. So my family has not been in the best shape this year. And this vacation couldn’t have been better therapy for us all. It was my first international flight and it was so exciting. My boyfriend is from Jamaica. Well his parents are but he is Jamaican and we met up with his relatives who took us off the resort and to Negrill and we went cliff diving at ricks cafe which was UNREAL seeing my beautiful cousin get married beside a waterfall in a tropical forest was surreal and the reception was a dream. The whole trip seemed surreal and I feel as if I returned home a happier more humble person yet depressed that I wasn’t still there lol all in all I will say that definitely won’t be my last trip to Jamaica. The people, the culture, the food, the music. The entire environment is just …. Unreal. I love it there and here are some photos of the amazing trip I will post another post with it. We also released my nanas ashes Into the ocean and my dad I’m sure was with us partying the whole time. ~
